Long range day

You can't see the target in the pics but it's out there I found a mtn top to set up on drove out set up a few targets one target at roughly at 500m then another around 800m and had two rifles set up for long range an ar15 with a bipod and 4-10x30 scope in 5.56 and a reminton 700sps varmint with a bipod and 4-16x 40 scope in 7.62x51.... It was pretty windy that day so the AR was having problems reaching out to the 500 I had a few good hits but 5.56 is a much lighter round so the wind gets ahold of it and makes it really hard to hold a good group that far way. Now the reminton with the 7.62 which is a heavier round had no issues hitting the 500 it was a fairly easy target with that rifle was able to get a lot of good hits then it came to the 800m target now I am new to long range shooting and once I got the adjustments right on the scope for the longer range I was getting really awesome shots on the 800m iv got to figure out the math to be able to change the scope settings without having to walk it in but it's a enjoyable work in progress

This is the same ar15 in part one but with just switching out a few things it complitly changes the role of the rifle with a 20 round mag, a short bi-pod and a scope it's now in a mid to long range role now the caliber is 5.56 so not gunna be a extramly long range rifle but 500-600 meters is possible depending on wind and weather

My new reminton 700 sps chambered in 308 win or 7.62x 51 NATO has a 26 inch heavy barrel holds 4 rounds the scope and bi pod will get switched out they were just what I had on hand

getting a new Remington 700 bolt action rifle around the first of next month and gonna start building it to me and effective long rage rifle i will go over the scope im gonna put on it, bi-pod check raiser and how to set it up the right way 

if anyone has comments or ideas on what they would like to see. let me know

i will be doing a bacisc over veiw on a AR15 just a plain iorn sight nothing fancy, then i will start adding things on to it to show why and when to use different attatchments

Had the idea that on too iv the videos I'm gunna start doing reviews on different types of guns what ones I like what ones are good on a budget

my videos are going to be basic training for people new to shooting and will progress into more intricate training as the videos come out step by step

got my Ar in the gunsmith swapping out the gas block... once I get it back I will start posting videos. if anyone else in my class is doing videos on gun training or anything along those lines let me know and we can make a youtube channel

Got my plan just need to wait to get a good video camera
